Tips To Get The Most From Your Home Gym
The home gym can help you build an extraordinary body, skyrocket your metabolism and shave for years from your age.
If you choose wisely, you will have all the tools you need to achieve this goal (and more). But not everyone knows where to start or how to get the most out of the home gym.
When the client asks me about buying home gym equipment, here are 5 things I told them to get the best of their purchases:
1) Buy complete equipment
Unless you have hundreds of square feet in your home to dedicate some equipment, you have to find a home gym that includes all the main exercises (including what you don’t like), like chest, back, feet (hamstrings & front thighs), shoulders, biceps and Triceps.
2) Make sure your home gym is stable
There is a saying, ‘You get what you pay for. “Most of the cheap house gyms that you buy from local department stores have a very narrow base, so they tend to sway. Stay away from home gyms that don’t have a stable base.
For the basic rules of the thumb, see the home gym that is more ‘square’ or ‘as high as they are wide’.For example, you will not want a home gym as high as 10 feet x 2 feet wide x 2 feet, unless you will be anchored to the concrete floor.
3) Place your home gym where you will use It
If you leave your home gym in a room, you don’t usually get into, the possibilities are high so you won’t use it. The more invites the room where you put your equipment, the more likely you will use it (how many of us really want to exercise in the basement?.
If there is only one place you can put your home gym, then work in the room. Maybe add a paint layer or install a picture that inspires you.
Add a stereo or television system mounted on the wall. By making the room inviting and inspire, you will ensure that the exercise will be fun.
4) Create a simple & short exercise routine
Don’t go make or use ‘Mr. Or home gym training Ms. Olympia. That was the first big mistake by people when they first got their equipment.
Instead, start by making exercises which are only 30 to 45 minutes. It was less than one TV show 1 hour.Do this exercise 3 to 5 days a week. Remember to do all your muscles (not only what you like) for optimal results. It helps to save your exercise record on paper so you can see how far you have come.
If you are stuck what to do, don’t worry. Many home gyms come with beginner exercises. But again, don’t come out all and kill yourself some of the first exercises – starting from where you are and build it. Consistency is the key to the killer body.
5) Write your training/workout day on the calendar
Like an important appointment, make an appointment with your home gym. You need to make an effort to put yourself, your body and health first – especially at the initial stage.
Experts tell us that it takes 3 to 6 weeks before the action becomes a habit. After you build an exercise habit, it will be easier. To help you continue to follow your exercise appointments, get loved ones to encourage you and make you responsible.
After you pass 8 weeks, you will feel (and see) very well you will wonder why you don’t get a home gym faster. So they are 5 ways to get the most out of your home gym equipment.Enjoy and good luck!

Advantages of Having Your Own Home Gym
If you want to commit to fitness lifestyle but your current lifestyle and commitment makes you not go to the gym, then you might want to make the possibility of setting your own home gym.
I’m sure we all want to make fitness into a full time priority. However, it becomes challenging (especially if you have a daily commitment). We understand that we need to exercise and be persistent with our efforts. However, we have a little time blocked to do it.
This is where the home gym can be effective for you. Don’t misunderstand, gym membership is a great thing to have too. However, having an area to be set aside to exercise can be a valuable asset for people who make fitness be high priority.
In this article I want to discuss three advantages to have your own home gym:Flexibility is a benefit that can have a major impact on our lives. You will be able to maintain your commitment to your fitness. With a home gym, you can exercise anytime.
You will also have a little time constraint to pass the job.Home gym is also a time saver for the weekend. You can only allocate half an hour from your schedule to lift the load and then spend the remaining time with your family.
The perfect example of the flexibility of home gym is when you experience an unexpected schedule change. If you wake up late and miss your chance to go to your gym, you can always get a quick job at home before you go to work.
You can also use this advantage at night too. If you miss your morning practice, you can always exercise at night when you get work from home.
Privacy too and profit when you have your own home gym. I find the most important benefits to having privacy is you can focus on your routine. Because there are fewer socialization opportunities (rather than going to the gym), you can really call your job. Also, you can watch or listen to whatever you want when you exercise.
Finally, the best part of having a home gym is you have control. For example, gym membership is cost. If for some reason the life makes you curveball where you have to cancel your membership for any reason, you can use your home to set your advantages. Your health will not be a victim.
One drawback to having a home gym is that equipment can be expensive. So it’s important to do the right research on sports equipment. You don’t need to buy expensive items for your home gym if you don’t want it too.You can buy basic weights and benches to start and then get more equipment because your financial situation allows for it.
So, if you are someone with a lot of daily commitment and can’t make it to the gym all the time, then consider investing in the home gym.
Why Home Exercise Equipment is Better Than a Gym Membership?
Everyone buys a gym membership with the best intention. You plan to go several times a week. You plan to take advantage of the class or session with a personal coach.
You have every intention to formulate a plan, and stick to him.
- The problem is: The gym is too easily avoided. And the reason to avoid it is too good.
- Not just laziness :The time of travel is getting longer: the last thing you want to do before or after work spend more time drive to the gym and fight for the parking lot.
- That’s assuming you even have a choice: If you have children to take or deliver, or tasks that must be done at home, you might not have time you feel you need to get good exercises in the gym.
This is where the benefits of home sports equipment really show. You can win a few minutes here and there on the treadmill while cooking dinner. You can watch your children when you exercise. You can watch your own DVD in the comfort of AC set to your preferences when you use a stationary, elliptical or treadmill or bicycle.
You can listen to music you like, set some aromatherapy that you find inspiration, or read when you exercise. And when you are done, you can take a shower in the comfort of your own bathroom, with all your favorite shampoo, soap, and towels there waiting for you.
Most importantly, how many times can you see sports equipment before you run out of reasons? If you think, “You don’t know how much”, you might be surprised.Every time you see it, you remember the benefits of your offer, and you start thinking about how to do it into your schedule almost without trying.
